The Office for the Aging offers many services for the senior residents of Steuben County including, but not limited to, information and referral, nutrition through congregate meals, advocacy, support groups, transportation services, caregiver services, case management, and the Bone Builders and Senior Meal Programs. Bone Builders and the Senior Dinner Clubs are overseen by Pro Action of Steuben-Yates.

Provides personal safety workshops as well to help individuals remain independent for as long as possible. Also maintains a private care registry of private duty aides, nurses, housekeepers, and companions for individuals seeking help at home.

Offers elderly or severely disabled individuals residing at home a day program providing nursing and medical care, case/care management and recreation. Services include access to a variety of medical specialists (dentist, podiatrist, audiologist, therapists), and individualized nursing care for a wide range of medical conditions associated with chronic illness and aging including Alzheimer's, dementia, diabetes and Parkinson's Disease. Program attendance is based on individual needs. Transportation to and from the Center is available.
