Helps people get health insurance for themselves and their families and offers a convenient way for people to learn about available health insurance programs in their community. Facilitated Enrollers are trained as experts to screen and determine eligibility for all government insurance programs. They will help the patient gather the necessary documentation and represent the patient at the Department of Social Services. Facilitated Enrollers can help patients apply for Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Prenatal Care Assistance Program (PCAP), and State Aid.

Advocates for alcoholism and substance abuse services in Western NY. Contracts management of local programs receiving state funds. Provides regional planning for services, regulatory oversight to all licensed drug and alcohol programs, and oversight of prevention, recovery and housing services that provide OASAS services. Does NOT service individuals.

UWBEC leads the Creating Assets, Savings & Hope (CASH) Coalition, more than 25 organizations including banks, credit unions, nonprofits, faith and community groups, educational institutions, and government agencies that focus on a variety of proactive, community-based strategies including securing working family credits and other income supports (including Earned Income, Education, and Child Tax Credits); improving the coordination, reach, and consistency of local financial education programming; supporting education and employment opportunities; and encouraging homeownership and other asset development opportunities.

Offers a wide range of comprehensive mental health services including counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), individual and group therapy, trauma based treatments, treatment for children, medication evaluation and services. Counseling and treatment available for people having problems with anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, anger management, or post-partum depression. Provides a response to mental health emergencies. Also makes referrals for Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS) and Care Coordination.
