An evaluation and referral service offering an alternative to incarceration. Individuals may be referred by adolescent diversion court, DWI court, drug court, mental health court, domestic violence court, opioid court, veteran court, or criminal court. ##REENTRY##

A comprehensive child development Head Start/Preschool program children including children with disabilities and their families. Early Head Start: provides early, continuous, intensive, and comprehensive child development and family support services to low-income infants and toddlers and their families, and pregnant women and their families. Provides early learning, care and enrichment experiences to children in an early care and education setting. Staff members also visit family homes at least twice per year.

Peer-run service where people can participate and obtain information, support, and skills for their individual recovery journey. Ongoing services include:

Provides comprehensive treatment, recovery, and support services for individuals and families impacted by mental health and substance use challenges. Services offered include individual and group counseling, medical and psychiatric care, family support coordination, addiction medicine consultations, opiate overdose prevention training, recovery coaching and peer support services, care coordination, community outreach and education, harm reduction services, a therapy dog program, and more. Provides the following clinical services: Nursing, Nutrition, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Feeding/Swallowing, Psychology/Evaluation/Diagnosis, Social Work, and Speech Language Pathology. Other services offered may include:

Respite services provide adults with psychiatric disabilities a safe, sober, clean environment in which to temporarily live. There are four respite beds that are used as a means of hospital diversion, temporary housing, symptom management, and as a rest or relief from stressors to current living situations.

Provides primary care, pediatric care, phlebotomy, and behavioral health in a Certified Patient Centered Medical Home that is accessible and focused on quality and safety. Can help enroll in health insurance coverage.

Housing Retention: A Medicaid funded housing program that works to develop skills that will increase housing stability by providing: crisis intervention, mental health referrals, life skill counseling, conflict resolution, landlord mediation, and long term financial support. Housing Placement: A housing specialist is available to assist individuals who are HIV positive with locating safe, secure housing and to help identify funding sources. Emergency Financial Assistance: Funds are available to HIV positive individuals to assist with securing safe housing and prevent eviction or utility termination. Funds for first month's rent, security deposit, past due rent, and utility disconnect prevention are limited to one time per eligible individual within a 12 month period. Rental Subsidy: Provides rental assistance on a monthly basis, similar to that offered through Section 8.

Provides around-the-clock support and services to youth in crisis under the age of 18 and their families or caretakers. Mental health professionals will answer questions and concerns by phone and/or meeting with a youth and their parent/caretaker in their community or home. Program is meant to support families in resolving crisis situations in the home or community and help prevent future crises. An effective crisis plan will be developed with the family.

Community based group home with family-style living primarily for boys, ages 13-20, experiencing emotional, educational, and/or behavioral challenges. Children attend public school, may work in the community, and participate in school and community activities.

MHPC Peers help clients with mental health issues to navigate the housing market, find specific, targeted housing, fill out applications, and negotiate with landlords in order to achieve safe affordable housing. Peers have had their own struggles with obtaining safe, affordable housing, so they are informed by experience.

Provides Day Habilitation, Pre-Vocational Training, Sheltered Workshops, and Supported Employment. Transportation is provided for all services.

Provides outreach and educational programs.

Offers fully integrated mental health and substance use disorder treatment and services for adults and children. Services include:

• Psychiatric evaluations
• Counseling, psychiatry, and medication treatment services for a variety of mental health and substance use disorders, including co-occurring disorders
• Substance use disorder medication assisted treatment
• Health care screening and monitoring for overall health
• Skills building
• Education assistance and vocational services, including vocational rehabilitation
• Targeted case management and peer services

A one-stop program that affords patients convenient access to primary care, behavioral health treatment, addiction screening, health and wellness education, fitness activities, community support services, and financial and health insurance counseling all under one roof.

Provides comprehensive outpatient mental health services including treatment, rehabilitation, support, self help, crisis intervention, and vocational services.

Provides a variety of services in home and community based settings to assist with improving the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families via OPWDD and OMH. Supports include respite, community habilitation, recreation, after school programming, summer programming, broker services, early intervention services, children's mental health services, intensive parent training, children's health homes, and employment services.

A New York State Office of Mental Health licensed clinic. Staff serve children from two to 21 years of age and provide diagnostic and treatment services to Western New York youth and their families who are experiencing emotional and/or behavioral disturbances or family relationship problems. Offers diagnostic assessment and evaluation; individual, family, parent-child and group psychotherapies; psychiatric evaluation and consultation; medication management; and advocacy with and consultation to schools, social services, or other agencies serving clinic patients. The clinic is also home to the University at Buffalo's residency training program in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Specialty Treatment Clinics have been developed within Children's Psychiatry Clinic. Clinics provide treatment to specialty populations including eating disorders, Tourette Syndrome, dually diagnosed children who present with mental health and developmental concerns, medically compromised youth, and preschool age children.

Works to educate, empower, and to promote equality of all people with disabilities in Niagara County. Provides peer supports, information and referral, advocacy, transition supports, and peer services to people with any functional limitations. Has many programs and resources to assist constituents, including Deaf Services, Medicaid Application Assistance Program, Independent Living Skills training, Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Services (CDPAS), and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and benefit/entitlement services for individuals with disabilities. Also offers a medical loan closet. Addict 2 Addict (A2A): A peer-led team serving people with substance use disorders and their families and loved ones. Peers (in sustained recovery themselves and/or having loved ones with a substance use disorder) share their recovery experience and help those with substance use disorders navigate the many avenues to take by offering information, advocacy, and Peer Counseling to help them reach their first steps on the path to recovery. The team is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and will respond to a call at 716-498-4333 within 24 hours.

A multi-disciplinary program responding to reports of physical and sexual child abuse. Criminal justice, medical, and mental health services are coordinated on site. Prosecutors, police officers, social services workers, therapists, victim advocates, and medical professionals work together to investigate allegations and to reduce trauma for children reported as victims of sexual or physical abuse. Provides a child-friendly environment for interviews and medical examinations. Also provides community education and professional training on issues related to child abuse and family violence.
