Provides outpatient mental health care

Provides therapy and psychiatric care for adults and children. Services include mental health assessment, individual counseling/therapy, family (collateral) involvement, psychiatric consultation, psychiatric medication services and monitoring, co-occurring disorders treatment, and child and youth services for ages 4-17, addressing problems such as depression, anxiety, attention deficits, and other behavioral issues. Clinic serves the full range of psychiatric diagnostic problems including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality and adjustment disorders. Counseling is also offered at the following School Satellites: Letchworth and Perry Central Schools.

Community Connections provides a variety of mental health training services including mental health first aid, QPR suicide prevention training, anger management classes.

Provides a variety of support services for those with mental illness and their families. Support groups, educating the patient and family about specific mental illness and treatments, along with advocating for clients when other services are needed.

NAMI In Our Own Voice is an hour-long interactive presentation that provides insight into what it’s like to live with a mental health condition. The presentation is led by two adults living with mental health conditions and includes video and discussion. See website for calendar dates.

This service replaces the Targeted Case Management Services. This agency contracts with Adirondack Health Institute (AHI) and provides linkage and supports to assist individuals with their mental and physical health care needs. OMH funded and contract with Health Home and DOH.

Provides a centralized intake process for adults and children who have significant behavioral health needs that would benefit from additional supports and services in the community. This includes people with significant behavioral and medical or social risk factors which can be addressed through overall care management. There are three types of SPOAs - Children's, Adult Case/Care Management and Adult Housing. The SPOA process provides for the identification of people most in need of services, and manages service access and utilization.

Offers emergency evaluations and triage services. Provides referrals for children who are suicidal, exhibiting psychotic behavior or are exhibiting aggressive behavior.

Provides the services, and information to help children who may be in danger, due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment, or have serious emotional or behavioral challenges.

Provides specialized case management, based on individual need, for people with mental illness/ chronic medical issues and substance abuse. Services can be as basic as helping with benefits assistance to monthly visits that help with care, medication, benefits, crisis intervention and more.

MHAB assist with transitional housing, mental health and substance abuse services.

Community Education programs and classes are designed and produced according to perceived need or request from the public. Programs range from free informational presentations to more formal established classes. Speakers are also available for outside presentations.

Provides mental health services to youth and their families to improve their health, well-being and quality of life.

NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8-session class for families, significant others and friends of people with mental health conditions. The course is designed to facilitate a better understanding of mental health conditions, increase coping skills and empower participants to become advocates for their family members.

Provides mental health evaluations, consultations and prevention services for children and adolescents.

Provides mental health assessments/crisis intervention to individuals struggling with emotional or mental difficulties, including assisting DSS or family court with home assessments and therapeutic intervention for adoption and foster care families and for on matters involving custody, visitation, child abuse/neglect, and PINS (Persons In Need of Supervision).
