Offers a Yoga Alliance Approved 200-Hour Teacher Training course. This 200-hour course is offered in two parts, over two semesters. This program includes asanas, pranayamas, kriyas, chanting, mantra, meditation, and other traditional yoga techniques. This course will be comprised of analytical training in how to teach and practice the techniques and guided practice of these techniques. This is a Yoga Alliance approved yoga course. Meetings will be once a week during the week and one weekend a month; a meeting calendar will be distributed at the first meeting. Offers an alternative to incarceration for youth who are at risk at entering the criminal justice system as offenders. At risk youth are given an idea of what it is really like to be locked up. The program also includes topics of self worth, peer pressures, drug abuse, group association, impulsive behavior and the benefits of patience and perseverance. The goal is of deterring youth from entering the criminal justice system.

Centralizes NCDA’s various community and educational outreach functions, to ensure that every school district, senior center, neighborhood watch, group home, and faith-based institution receives access to NCDA’s rich variety of presentations and programming. The Office of CORE Services is charged with bringing NCDA’s family, victim, community and educational services to every corner of Nassau County, and centralizing NCDA’s victims’ services response office wide. CORE's school-based and youth programming brings together educators, parents, and children of all ages from elementary through high school, to raise awareness about the challenges impacting our County’s young people. Our comprehensive approach includes programming that reaches directly into Nassau’s public and private school districts to provide information and resources for students, parents, and educators. Through this endeavor, we are committed to providing our youth with the support that they need to make good choices in their lives. MICHC will provide education, outreach, home visitation, referrals and follow-up to improve the general health and well-being of women and infants, with a focus on family planning and self-sufficiency. The program will engage women and link families to health and other supportive services in the targeted communities of Newburgh, Middletown and Port Jervis.

Assists custodial parents in obtaining financial support and medical insurance coverage for their children by locating absent parents, establishing paternity, establishing support orders, and collecting and distributing child support payments.

Assists in the selection of homecare services, sets up individual care plans, provides education and support for patients and caregivers. Also provides Care Aides for home care.
