Offers a 60-hour training program created to assist entrepreneurs with starting or expanding their businesses. The Entrepreneurial Assistance program offers entrepreneurial training courses as well as technical and management seminars to those who are interested in starting or expanding their own businesses. Special efforts are made to recruit and select minorities, women, dislocated workers and persons with disabilities. The ten week program is designed for client entrepreneurs to interact in sixty hours business courses and seminars. Each class is three hours in duration. Client entrepreneurs receive one-on-one counseling, assistance with packaging business loans, mentor support, peer group support and a Small Business Resource Guide. Also available online is a referral form which can be filled out and submitted. Also provides an annual Young Children Expo conference for parents, health care professionals, teachers, or anyone who works with children with developmental disabilities.

Provides emotional support and advocacy. Performs sexual offense evidence collection kit and rape kit. Drug facilitated sexual assault blood and urine specimen collected. Confidential. Police involvement at the discretion of the victim. Program is a collaborative effort of the Special Victims Squad of the Nassau County Police Department, the North Shore-L.I.J. Health System, the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCCADV) and the Sex Offense and Domestic Violence Bureau of the Nassau County District Attorney's Office.
