The services offered include counseling and assistance with immediate needs, locating suitable housing, employment, educational/vocational training, therapy, medical assistance, financial support, and other services. Provides families with the chance to learn about, interact with and enjoy animals in a natural farm setting. Offers spring, summer, fall and planting field trips throughout the year. Offers a food pantry for veterans. Once registered with the proper veteran’s documentation, the veteran may come to the food pantry once per week for food distributions; toiletries and other supplies are issued monthly. Wang Center manifests this commitment by creating, establishing, organizing and documenting programs of the highest caliber that reflect both traditional and contemporary Asian and Asian American cultures and societies. These programs include exhibitions, films, lectures, conferences, performances, and educational discussions. The Charles B. Wang Center also supports scholarship and publications of eminence and intellectual merit. In public programs that respond to the broad issues of Asian and Asian American arts and culture, the Charles B. Wang Center seeks to create a dialogue between the established and the experimental, and between the past and the present. Central to the Charles B. Wang Center's mission is the encouragement of an ever-deeper understanding and enjoyment of Asian and Asian American arts and culture by diverse local, national and international audiences. These audiences are composed of students, faculty, artists, scholars and general public members of the Stony Brook community that the Center serves. The Charles B. Wang Center is ideal for hosting a variety of conferences and events. The versatile 124,000-square-foot layout features five multi-purpose meeting rooms of various sizes, two lecture halls, a fully equipped 239-seat theater, four open-air galleries and a non-denominational chapel. On the main floor is Jasmine, a food court cafe offering an array of delicious, fresh and seasonal Asian dishes. With state-of-the-art technology, the Charles B. Wang Center has the ability to link scholars and researchers from all over the world in real time. Programs that develop plans for the evaluation, treatment and/or care of individuals who, because of age, illness, disability or other difficulties, need assistance in planning and arranging for services, which assess the individual's needs, coordinate the delivery of needed services, ensure that services are obtained in accordance with the case plan, and follow up and monitor progress to ensure that services are having a beneficial impact on the individual.

Provides help to individuals in various ways to attain employment. Offers guidance in getting a GED, get vocational training, benefits assistance, filling out applications, resume writing and practice job interviewing skills.

Offers comprehensive assessment and support systems for children and adults with a variety of learning difficulties. Psycho-education specialists and other professionals provide psycho-educational, psychological and neuropsychological testing and screening, batteries, educational intervention programs, and learning profile assessments and individualized tutoring. Services aid children, adolescents, and adults build reading, writing, math, and study skills.

Prepared childbirth, breastfeeding, newborn care classes

Awards annual grants to non-profit organizations and/or individual artists to help strengthen the arts and cultural programs in their communities. Considers applicants' quality of programming, community support, and professionalism in making funding decisions, and awards grants on recommendation of a seven-member panel of local artists, community leaders, and others from throughout Suffolk County. Grants range from $500 to $5,000.

Provides a summer camp program for young boys with many fun and challenging activities, such as archery, hiking, merit advancement, theme days, crafts, sports, games, nature study, and swimming.

A 6-week program designed for people who are living with diabetes, are pre-diabetic, or anyone who is interested in learning more about diabetes.

Compiles, publishes and distributes a voter guide and a directory of elected officials, of every level, in the county. The voter guide is available online.
