Resource specialists assist guests with connecting to coordinated entry assessments, Single Point of Access assessments, homeless services, benefits/entitlement referrals, and linkage to behavioral health services. Open 365 nights a year. Services include:

A single location where customers can access the services provided by the Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and the Conservation District. Farm Service Agency administers federal farm programs and farm loan programs.

Christian-based preschool for children 3-4 years old.

Provides adult behavioral health services, family counseling, psychiatric treatment, individual and group counseling, and crisis intervention. Offers support groups on parenting, self-esteem, stress management, MICA (Mentally Impaired Chemically Addicted), social skills, men's issues, and teens' issues.

Provides Medicaid funding for nursing home residents who have exhausted all of their resources.

Provides recreational activities, educational programs, and health programs, including blood pressure, hearing, and cholesterol screenings. Offers organized day and overnight trips. Provides assistance in filling out forms. Provides information and referral. Serves as a City of Buffalo Cooling Center during times of extreme heat and as a Warming Center when the temperature is 15 degrees or below. Always call ahead to make sure a Cooling Center is open before going there.

Provides a fun, interactive space for parents/caregivers to play with their children, connect with other caregivers, receive parenting support, and gain strategies and tools to address a variety of parenting challenges and improve communication with their children. Other services available are detailed below. Family Enrichment: Works to strengthen caregiver/child bonds and improve early childhood development through play, family engagement, and early literacy skills. Provides tools and strategies to address a variety of parenting challenges. Family Partnership: Family partners are present to listen, offer support, and assist in linking families with services and resources that would be most beneficial to them. In-Kind & Financial Assistance: Financial assistance and other supports may be offered to families on a case by case basis and as funding allows.

Provides free eviction defense and advocacy to families and individuals who are at risk of, or are facing, eviction. Services provided include:

• Legal Advice: Assisting tenants facing eviction to better understand their rights and options;
• Eviction Prevention Assistance: Intervening with the landlord or housing provider on the tenant's behalf to attempt to resolve the underlying issue before the matter proceeds to court, allowing the continuance of the tenancy and stabilization of the tenant in their home;
• Eviction Representation: Appearing with tenants in court; and
• Referrals: Providing tenants with information about financial assistance and other services that may resolve the issues that led to a potential eviction in an effort to stabilize the tenant in their home.

Offers various youth enrichment programs that address character and leadership development, community projects, health and life skills, and cultural enrichment. Various recreation, sports, and art based activities are offered throughout the year. Also offers a day trip program for 4 weeks in July for a separate fee.

Outpatient mental health clinic with licensed social workers for counseling and psychiatrists for medication, if needed. Assists with depression and stress issues. Provides psychiatric services and mental health counseling to individuals and families. Group counseling also available.

Focuses on helping individuals gain assets and become self-sufficient, improving the health and safety and energy efficiency measures in their home, and helping to develop and improve local businesses. Directly offers opportunities for home ownership and education, energy conservation through weatherization assessment, and renovation services. Also offers financial services such as budgeting along with homeownership, credit, bankruptcy, and foreclosure counseling.

Provides free in-person tax preparation by appointment only for income eligible taxpayers, with returns prepared by IRS certified volunteers.

Offers complete primary medical and dental care for the entire family. Services include pre-health maintenance, rapid HIV test (15 minutes), tuberculosis testing, COVID-19 testing, complete lab services, GYN services, social work services, short-term counseling, full dental care, personalized education about chronic illnesses, and smoking cessation. Family Planning Benefit Program is a direct Medicaid public health insurance program for individuals and families who need family planning services, with no premiums or co-pays for services. Program is intended to increase access to confidential family planning services and to enable individuals of any age and sex to prevent or reduce the incidence of unintended pregnancies. Offers a free Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway each year, along with offerings of donated canned goods, hats, and gloves. ##REENTRY##
