Homeowners and renters residing in a single-family home or residential buildings with 1-4 units who are listed as the person of record responsible for the natural gas service, who meet income guidelines or receive HEAP, SNAP or public assistance, are eligible. If you qualify, HEAT will make arrangements with one of our skilled energy specialists to conduct a no-cost Home Energy Assessment of your home. The energy specialist will perform a top-to bottom evaluation of the home, both inside and out, to find areas where you can save money. Customers may also qualify for no-cost energy-saving improvements such as: .Heath and safety testing .Installation of programmable or smart thermostats .Installation of faucet aerators or low-flow showerheads .Installation of carbon monoxide detectors .Attic insulation, weather stripping, duct sealing, and air sealingIn certain cases we may repair or replace natural gas appliances (heating systems, domestic hot water heaters)
