Safe, appropriate housing for adults with serious mental illness or recovering from substance abuse, addiction or co-occurring disorders. Options range from facilities with 24-hour supervision to independent living with rent subsidies for low-income persons within the target population.Residential options are combined with treatment programs tailored to the individual's level of independence, including recreational, educational and employment opportunities. Residents acquire social and daily living skills to become more self-sufficient, socially integrated and independent.

Offers two certified mental health community residence for adults who need assistance preparing for successful community living.

Provides housing support for people with developmental disabilities. Residential services include houses and supportive environments with 24-hour staff support as well as environments in which individuals live on a largely independent basis but receive support as needed.

Provides sheltered care for elderly, long-term care, memory care, rehabilitation and palliative care.

Provides affordable housing, intensive skills training and ongoing support to individuals with a severe and persistent mental illness. Intends to be transitional in nature and is designed to improve an individual's community living skills level to the point where they are able to move on to a more independent housing option.

* Provides an adult care facility that offers assistance in activities of daily living, medication and meal management, activities, housekeeping, laundry, case management and care coordination.

Offers supervised and supportive housing in the community for people with chronic mental illness and for those with developmental disabilities.

Woodlawn Commons offers 60 independent one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments for seniors as well as 40 enriched living apartments for those who might need additional services. Special features include gardens, a hair salon, a country store, a wellness center, arts and crafts, a social activity area, scheduled transportation, educational-cultural events and a private family dining room. A library with a fireplace is also available. There is 24-hour security, and interconnecting corridors between apartments and the community center There is a laundry-refuse area in each building and ample parking. This is located on the public bus line and is within walking distance of downtown Saratoga Springs. Pets are allowed.

Kingsway Manor Assisted Living offers 24-hour supervision, assistance with medication and personal care needs, meals served waitress-style with choice of entree, private rooms with private baths, a beauty salon-barber shop, daily housekeeping and laundry services, and diversified activities including intergenerational programs with the children of Kingsway Kids Center. Group transportation for shopping and community events is available, as well as transportation to medical appointments. This is a two-story building with 2 elevators and 120 beds.

The primary purpose of the Residential Program is to provide individuals with a safe, clean environment, well-balanced nutritious meals, and the opportunity todevelop independent living skills. In addition, people are offered the opportunity for meaningful and enjoyable recreational activities in the evenings and on weekends. The Residential Services Program of The Arc of Madison Cortland operates different types of residential homes in order to meet the needs of adults with developmental disabilities. In order to be eligible for placement in the Residential Services Program, an individual must have a documented diagnosis of a developmental disability and be at least 18 years of age.

Provides rental assistance and case management to homeless individuals with disabilities and their families through a Federal Grant Program funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Offers traditional community residences, or one- and two-bedroom apartments for adults with a mental health diagnosis. Support and assistance are provided in the areas of daily living skills (budgeting, parenting, assertiveness training, medication management, and vocational and educational skills.

Operates a apartment program for individuals with a mental illness diagnosis. Provides support, monitoring, and advocacy to assist with independent living skills.

Provides support and assistance based on need that ranges from a few hours per week to 24 hour on-site supervision. Options range in size from two-person to ten-person homes. Services include residential habilitation, skill enhancement, recreation, medical oversight, and advocacy.

Provides a congregate care setting serving older adults with psychiatric disabilities that works with residents on the skills needed to build independence.

Offers variety of community-based living arrangements that promote the independence and community connections. Supports are tailored to needs, desires and abilities of individual. Services include: community residences; supervised apartments; supportive apartments; and services within individual's own home.
