Woodlawn Commons offers 60 independent one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments for seniors as well as 40 enriched living apartments for those who might need additional services. Special features include gardens, a hair salon, a country store, a wellness center, arts and crafts, a social activity area, scheduled transportation, educational-cultural events and a private family dining room. A library with a fireplace is also available. There is 24-hour security, and interconnecting corridors between apartments and the community center There is a laundry-refuse area in each building and ample parking. This is located on the public bus line and is within walking distance of downtown Saratoga Springs. Pets are allowed.

Group transportation for shopping and community events is available, as well as transportation to medical appointments. This is a two-story building with 2 elevators and 120 beds.

The primary purpose of the Residential Program is to provide individuals with a safe, clean environment, well-balanced nutritious meals, and the opportunity todevelop independent living skills. In addition, people are offered the opportunity for meaningful and enjoyable recreational activities in the evenings and on weekends. The Residential Services Program of The Arc of Madison Cortland operates different types of residential homes in order to meet the needs of adults with developmental disabilities. In order to be eligible for placement in the Residential Services Program, an individual must have a documented diagnosis of a developmental disability and be at least 18 years of age.
