Residences are within walking distance of a variety of convenience stores and supermarkets. Both homes welcome 11-12 residents and have 24 hour supervision from a professionally trained staff. Each location provides laundry facilities, an entertainment center, storage areas, and heat/air conditioning. All bedrooms are furnished with twin beds, dressers, and night tables. However, residents may bring their own furniture if they prefer.

The independent housing programs offer financial assistance, case management and staff supports to allow people to maintain permanent housing in the community.

Provides Family Care and Individual Residential Alternatives (IRA) for developmentally disabled persons ages 18 and older who are HCBW eligible. Intermediate Care Facility is available for those who are Medicaid eligible. Transportation is available for all. Supportive apartments are also available, with limited transportation. Provides respite care allowing families of developmentally disabled persons to take a break from the daily routine of care-giving duties. Currently, two locations in a certified home can offer respite for as little as one day or for a few weeks. Reservations are encouraged; however, emergency accommodations are available. Provides At-Home Residential Habilitation service that assists individuals in improving the skills necessary to live in the community while living at home. Qualified staff work one-on-one with individuals to help them learn socialization, recreation, daily living, and mobility skills.

Other programs are for non-homeless, low income (SSI) mentally ill adults. Priority access for those who qualify for Erie County Care Coordination Program.
