Offers clothing and household vouchers to those that have experienced a disaster such as a house fire. Vouchers are to the Salvation Army Family Store.
Helps Nassau-Suffolk residents living with and/or affected by HIV/AIDS, who are on the verge of falling behind, those who might otherwise fall through the cracks of traditional social support services. Services are totally dependent upon private donations and are not always available. Requests that may come in are transportation vouchers, appliances, winter coats, clothing vouchers, Holiday gifts, personal care items. Please call for availability.

Emergency clothing and limited household supplies available by voucher to Community Action's Main Street Thrift Store (also located at 131 South Main Street). Also offers personalized case management, through which clients can be connected with vital services such as primary care, behavioral health services, peer counseling, insurance enrollment, and health home coordination, with the goal of empowering families to achieve long-term self-sufficiency.
