HEAP is no longer administering Heating Equipment Repair and Replacement (HERR) or Clean and Tune benefit. For assistance with furnaces, you must apply for Emergency Temporary Assistance.

EMERGENCY HEAP benefit is scheduled to open January 2, 2026.

Applicant households must meet a resource test. Benefit amounts vary. Typically it is a one-time only benefit during the program year.
