*Provide direct assistance to low-income individuals and families by providing case management services through a series of assessments. Assistance based on need and includes rent, security deposit, mortgage, utilities (such as gas, electric, heating, water, and sewer), auto insurance and repairs, personal hygiene items, diapers and wipes, furniture, as well as gasoline and bus passes for employment-related services. * Provides information and referrals to the appropriate resources or agencies. * Provides personal financial counseling.

Update November 2025- The main UW 211 ALICE program is still out of funding, however we have received a small amount of funds for utility assistance only due to the delay in HEAP opening this year. We are able to provide assistance to ALICE eligible clients for one time NYSEG shut offs or propane/oil tank refills or wood/pellet deliveries. HEAP income guidelines apply for this specific assistance. Clients must still try other programs first before applying for ALICE. Provides eligible individuals with vehicle repair grants, to complete repairs not exceeding 25% of the private value of the vehicle, used for transportation for work. • Participants must develop a household budget with ACCORD staff. • Repairs must be completed at a NYS licensed repair shop • A minimum of two estimates will be required.
