BE SAFE Domestic Violence Victim Advocacy Program - Erie County District Attorney

A domestic violence program comprised of advocates and social workers located within the Erie County District Attorney's Office. Provides supportive counseling, resources, case management, and safety planning to survivors of Intimate Partner Violence. Specializes in providing advocacy within criminal courts and helping survivors review their options regardless of whether they have a criminal case. Free services are provided to anyone who identifies themselves as a victim of Domestic Violence. Services include BE SAFE Hotline; court accompaniment and advocacy; counseling; crisis case management; help with safety planning; information and referrals for counseling, housing, and other programs; help communicating with the Assistant District Attorney and police; help with medical, housing, employment and financial needs; education and training about abuse; assistance in filing Family Court Family Offense petitions; and VINE program registration for offender release information.

Crisis Services Advocate Program - Rape Crisis Center & Domestic Violence Services

Rape Crisis Center that also provides services addressing Domestic Violence, Family Violence, and Elder Abuse. Provides 24-hour immediate crisis response to all Erie County Hospital Emergency Departments when a victim of rape, domestic/family violence, or elder abuse is identified. Services include crisis intervention, support, advocacy, safety planning, case management, supportive counseling, prevention education, and community referrals. Crisis Services also has a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program that operates throughout Erie County and Niagara County in partnership with YMCA Niagara. Satellite offices are located at the Buffalo Police Sex Offense Section, Town of Tonawanda Police Department, and Erie County Sheriff's Office. Speakers and trainers are available. Advocates are also co-located at various college campuses across Erie County.

Domestic Violence Intervention Program - Niagara County - Sheriff Office

Provides Niagara County domestic violence victims access to services and entry into the criminal justice system through early intervention to provide the safety and support. Every Domestic Incident Report filed with law enforcement agencies is acted upon shortly after an incident occurs. The Victim Services Coordinator and Crime Victim Advocates provide support and advocacy which includes: - Safety planning - Danger Assessment - Referrals to appropriate services - Court accompaniment - Meetings with District Attorney staff - Assistance in obtaining Orders of Protection

CRIME VICTIMS SERVICES | SULLIVAN COUNTY PROBATION DEPARTMENT

Victims of crime may be eligible for benefits with the NYS Crime Victims Board CVB under certain circumstances including those who were physically injured as a result of a crime, children under 18, elderly 60 or over, disabled, the surviving spouse, parent, grandparent, stepparent, stepchild, child, or person dependent upon the victim who dies as a result of a crime, or the person who paid or incurred the burial expense of an innocent victim who died as a direct result of a crime limited to burial expenses only.

The Suffolk County Crime Victims Center (CVC) provides vital trauma informed support services, information, and multi-agency service referrals for assistance to child and adult victims of sexual assault and to all victims of violent crime, all victims of hate crime and elderly, minor and disabled victims of property crime. The CVC will also assist you in completion of required documents to secure reimbursement for medical and essential personal property expenses related to the crime. Salvation Army Domestic Violence Rape Crisis Program

Residential and Shelter Program: Open to all victims of domestic violence and their children. Provides information and referral, advocacy, crisis intervention, counseling, support group, and case management. Non-Residential Services: Chautauqua County Domestic Violence Rape Crisis Hotline, information and referral, advocacy, support groups, crisis intervention, and case management. Children and Family Outreach: Provides group and individual counseling services to children who are past or present victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and/or child abuse.
