Provides follow-up and referral services to adult victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Program works to enhance victim safety and support as well as perpetrator accountability. Staff collaborates with Jamestown City Court, Chautauqua County District Attorney's office, Catholic Charities (domestic violence classes for men), Chautauqua County Probation/Parole, Salvation Army, and many other human service counseling agencies to provide a coordinated community response to domestic violence.
Facilitates the Chautauqua County Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. Coalition consists of service providers, health care professionals, law enforcement personnel, clergy, and business sectors that meet every other month to address the needs of those affected by interpersonal violence.
