Safe Start is committed to promoting the safety of all occupants riding in motor vehicles and reducing the number of children riding unrestrained. The Safe Start program conducts educational workshops for the public. Safe Start's permanent fitting stations located in Nassau and Suffolk Counties can provide families with the opportunity to have their safety seats inspected by certified technicians ensuring correct installation. EAC's Safe Start van provides staff with the tools needed to operate a mobile fitting station while promoting efforts to ensure that children are safely strapped in.
