Family Health Network of Central New York, Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and licensed Article 28 Diagnostic and Treatment Center established in 1972. As a federally funded community health center, Family Health Network serves Cortland County, Cayuga County, Madison County, and contiguous areas (Tompkins, Chenango, Broome, and Tioga).Organizationally, Family Health Network has (5) freestanding medical centers, one (1) of which includes dental services, plus an additional four (4) school-based health centers. Family Health Network provides comprehensive primary medical care and dental care services directly and by referral.Services offered by Family Health Network include family practice/general practice dentistry, occupational health services, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, behavioral health, 340B pharmacy services, care coordniation, medical mobile services and insurance enrollment. Family Health Network's five Health Centers are located in Cortland, Cincinnatus, Marathon and Moravia. The dental clinic is located in Moravia. Behavioral health providers are available for consultation at all our primary care clinics. Brief individual and group treatments focus on health and wellness promotion, early identification, quick resolution of problems & long-term problem prevention. Provides care for clients who have non-emergency medical needs, such as cold symptoms, sore throats, minor burns, rashes or hives, allergies, fevers, and cough/congestion.

Drop-in center for homeless vets. Provides linkage with VA services and assistance with finding housing. Works with homeless and at-risk veterans to help them overcome the barriers that may prevent them from receiving or benefiting from health services. Veterans have access to a shower in the Drop-in Center. Also offers outreach to homeless veterans in shelters, soup kitchens, and on the streets. Outreach workers help establish eligibility for VA medical service and pension, develop appropriate treatment plans, and screen for community placement. Homeless veterans eligible for VA Healthcare may call for availability and screening for VA funded emergency shelter, transitional housing, and HUD section 8 voucher program. Provides free primary care and osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) services to individuals 18 and older, with or without insurance, who might not be able to afford care. These services are provided regardless of the patient’s immigration or health insurance status. Services include: General health check; Sick visits; Blood pressure tests; Electrocardiogram (EKG); In-house lab tests: Urine, throat culture, blood glucose check (fingerstick) and Discounted blood tests (outside lab fees apply).
