Works in partnership with the HempsteadWorks One-Stop System and Career Center to provide job training, job placement and foster local economic development. Provides staff to the Town of Hempstead Workforce Development Board and Youth Standing Committee.

Provides cost-free services to customers and businesses, including career coaching, linkages and job referrals to hiring employers, a well-equipped Resource Room and computer lab with high speed Internet access, individual and comprehensive assessments, career exploration, employment and job readiness workshops, resume preparation, job search planning, job interview preparation, Thursday networking job clubs, Individual Training Account (ITA) tuition grants for eligible customers, referrals to partner agencies, Adult Training Programs, Dislocated Worker Programs, and Trade Act Programs. Daycare and other support services may be available for qualifying individuals while they are in WIOA approved training.
