Children at risk may exhibit behaviors such as assaulting others, running away, engaging in theft, vandalism, or drug abuse, and may be disruptive in school. Services include, but are not limited to, strengthening the family unit by teaching adaptive parenting and safety skills to parents-guardians, teaching self-management, decision-making skills with identified youth, assistance with transportation, budget, and housing, and case planning for child development.

Provides a safe, supportive home for runaway or homeless youth ages 16 to 21. The program helps young people build life skills, gain confidence, and prepare for independence through case management, education and career planning, counseling, and recreational activities. Participants learn essential skills for self-sufficient living, including decision-making, money management, and independent living. TTLP is free, and all youth apply for temporary assistance through DSS. Eligible youth include males and females, including pregnant and parenting youth, who meet the HUD definition of homelessness.

Provides a curriculum-based, psycho-educational group for parents of children and teens who are at risk for placement, are in placement or who have come to the attention of the Department of Social Services. Focuses on increasing parental understanding of children and teen development, enhancing parenting skills, and changing parental attitudes toward children's behaviors. Classroom and in-home consultation also provided as needed. Each class consists of a 10 week session, though some groups are longer and run up to 24 weeks. Services are provided from a trauma informed approach and uses an evidence based curriculum.
