The PRC offers a variety of free parenting classes.

Offers trainings and education to families, parent-to-parent support, and advocacy assistance. Provides funding to families for respite, therapeutic recreational activities, summer camps, specialized adaptive equipment, home modifications, and emergency services.

Offers a twice-monthly family support and community-building program to provide parents with professional workshops to assist them with a broad range of integration issues, including navigating the school system, enhancing parenting skills, developing financial literacy, stabilizing families and planning for their children's future. Workshops are preceded by a community meal.

Provides support to fathers who are getting ready to be released from jail,are ex-offenders, or on probation and want to be a better dad and provider to the family. The program identifies each father's challenges and links them to community resources. Participants attend a 12-session workshop where they will learn, practice and strengthen specific parenting skills, communication, conflict resolution, anger management, including financial literacy training, pre-job skills, resume writing, interviewing skills, and employment support to help improve their economic stability.

Offers an early intervention and family strengthening program, facilitated by community professionals and FAST parent graduates, to families within the Longwood School District. Assists in building family and community relationships, fosters self-esteem, teaches effective parenting strategies and addresses issues such as school failure, alcohol/drug abuse, violence, delinquency, child abuse and neglect. Offers workshops for parents and caregivers as well as other resources specifically developed for parenting educators, professional training opportunities for individual who support families, and internships for students in the human services field of study.
