Open bridge games held on Thursdays at 11am and Sundays at 12:30pm. Fee per game, coffee and cake included. A partner not necessary. A learning game is available on Mondays from 6pm-9pm, time limited. Call for additional information.

Provides classes which are held at the center in exercise, dancing, music, art, Mah Jong, bridge classes, current events, drama, etc. About 40 classes are offered. Call for information. Walk in. This program is partially funded by Nassau County Department of Senior Affairs as a Multi Service Senior Center.

Provides a variety of educational, interesting and fun opportunities to meet new people and promote lifelong learning. Courses are offered in: Adult Auto/Defensive Driving; Boating; College Prep; Creative Arts; Financial & Legal; Health & Wellness; Music & Performing Arts; Physical Fitness; Special Interests and Stitchery. Provides Friday night recreation for teens. Open mic events for singers, musicians, comedians, video and board game tournaments, community fundraisers and more.

Provides programs which include introduction to computers, guitar lessons, bridge for beginners, and stargazing programs.

Promotes the educational and positive benefits of chess to children and adults through programs, tournaments and classes throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Call for additional information.

Provides daily hot meals in a social atmosphere. People can also opt to order frozen meals to take home. After school program offered for youth during the school year and 6 week summer camp offered when school not in session. Additional services include a private book club, bible study, exercise group, licensed daycare, community resource information, line dancing, and daily activities for seniors. Provides recreation opportunities to students ages 4 years old through 7th grade. Offers a full gym and game room with a variety of table games like pool, foosball, hockey, and ping pong. Homework help is available from staff and volunteers. Provides a recreation program open to students in 6th-12th grade, including basketball, several youth activities, and field trips.

A community center on the West Side of Buffalo that provides after school programming for youth ages 8-18. Offers board games, pool and ping pong tables, computer and internet access, books, a gym, and snacks. Recreation programs include sports programs, gym and game room activities, as well as field trips, arts and crafts, and other special events available through a partnership with Buffalo PAL (Police Athletic League). Serves as a Cooling Center during times of excessive heat and as a Warming Center during times of excessive cold. Always call ahead to make sure a Cooling or Warming Center is open before going there.

Provides weekly programs at the Batavia Senior Center. Some of the programs offered are bridge, line dancing, cribbage, arthritis chair-based exercise, quilters, and painting classes. New groups are always being organized. Special programs such as 55 Alive Driver Refresher Course, educational, health, and informational programs are also offered. Day trips to concerts, exhibits, musical productions, restaurants, and areas of special interest are also scheduled in the spring, summer, and fall. Senior groups and clubs exist in most areas of the county which offer luncheons and pot luck dinners. Most groups offer programs of interest, entertainment, day trips, and other recreational activities.
