Teens in the Teen Program are able to participate in a variety of local and national programs along with an assortment of activities and events offered and organized by local universities. We hope that by participating in various programs, our teens will discover their potential and possibilities for the future.

Provides opportunities for youth to develop critical skills through projects and activities.

* Offers a 9 month leadership development program to adults and high school seniors.* Selected on basis of written application.

Provides a year-round program for teens ages 13 to 19 years residing on the Westside of Syracuse focused on accepting and respecting individual differences, developing a positive identity, empowering teens, and treating them as valued members of the community. Activities include help with homework, field trips, study time, and a summer program.

Volunteers help with shelving books and clerical work. Youth volunteers interviewed in May/June for Summer Reading Program that starts in July.

Provides enrichment programming, tutoring, and violence prevention training for students at PSLA High School.

Group exercise, sports, aquatics, and other fitness programming Summer day camps Older adult programs Health programming, including blood pressure screening and programs for people with chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, and Parkinson's disease Certifications and training (including first aid, lifeguarding, and CPR) On-site child care available at some sites

Offers opportunities for youth, primarily middle school aged, to develop life skills, try new things and feel successful in a supportive environment. Provides several programs for youth including Summer Youth employment opportunities

* Provides volunteer fire protection.* Trains young people in all aspects of fire prevention/protection through the Explorer's Post.

Provides age-appropriate experiences and activities to youth that include: individualized, group and family counseling, enrichment activities, youth issue workshops, self-esteem development, targeted mentoring, and family enrichment programs.

Volunteers (9th grade or older) welcome to help with stocking food pantry and packing food packages in Binghamton and/or Endicott. Volunteers help with holiday program distribution. Grade school student volunteers must be accompanied by adult.

* Provides early childhood education.* Offers before and after school programs.

Offers clothing, shoes, linens, kitchenware, crafts, toys, books, small furniture items and more. Donations accepted during open hours.

* Assists county residents with home and home environment maintenance with knowledge about energy, conservation, pest identification and environmentally sound management alternatives, plant selection and maintenance, indoor air quality management, waste reduction and management and water quality protection.* Offers an educational opportunity and resources designed to help empower individuals and families to improve the quality of their lives, enhance parenting skills, become competent consumers, and build better communities through the Family and Consumer Education Program.* Provides 4-H youth program for young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills.

Provides an afterschool youth enrichment program for elementary and middle school students that offers homework help, cultural diversity activities, arts and crafts, music and reading clubs.

Offers church sponsored youth program for grades 5-12. Each week is an alternating time either at 10:15am or 5:30pm. The 10:15am meeting is at the church in Room 2 and the 5:30pm meeting is usually an outing. Please call for details.

Offers a variety of adventure trips for teens to make new friends, try new things, develop life skills and have fun in a dynamic and safe environment. These trips strive to create a community where everyone can gain leadership experience, acquire new skills and build healthy relationships with their peers and leaders.

Provides an emergency food pantry, employment assistance, social service advocacy (assistance with social service paperwork), a youth enrichment program (after-school), summer youth program, Senior Citizens programs, Translation, Education (GED, college and business school referral, Adult Education Referrals), budget planning and Support services for basic needs and advocacy to low-income residents.

The Learning Center is a central learning site providing workshops and learning opportunities for all at-risk youth ages 14-24. Workshops are supportive, social, and psycho-educational, all aimed at individual growth to assist youth to successfully transition into adulthood. We offer workshops on: creating a resume, preparing for job interviews and employment, career/vocational training, college application prep, financial literacy, independent living /life skills coaching and much more!

Offers recreational programs to Rosendale area youth under 21 years.

Offers an after school program that enhances a safe place to learn, develop ongoing relationships with peers and adult professionals, build self esteem and confidence through life skill enhancing programs, and character development experiences.

Provides a fitness center that offers a number of work out options for everyone of all ages. Services offered are gyms with exercise equipment and weights, personal trainers, basketball, volley ball, badminton and handball courts, and various exercise classes and groups.
