Forensic Mental Health - Endeavor

Mental health outpatient service for individuals involved in the criminal justice system, including sex offenders. Length of program varies. Offers Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for ex-offenders returning to Erie or Niagara County from a state facility. Intake must be made in cooperation with supervising parole officer.

Customized Community Services - Hillside Family of Services

Designed to meet the needs of parents/guardians that are raising children with serious emotional disturbances and/or behavioral challenges. Goals are developed and based on the child/families strengths, needs, and desire for the identified support services. Customized Community Services can also be provided in school and mental health settings if there is a contract in place with a funder who has agreed to purchase Customized Services from Hillside. Customized Services may include any of the following, depending upon availability in your area: -Individual skillbuilding (Examples of individual skillbuilding include working on improving anger management, social, independent living, or other important skills; transitioning home from an out-of-home placement; and learning strategies for managing difficult life situations.) -Parenting support and education -Skill-based groups -Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (in some areas) -Mentoring

Outpatient clinic services for children and adolescents ages 3-21. Provides rapid and immediate access to psychiatric, individual, group, and family therapy. ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION TREATMENT PROGRAM | JOAN AND ARNOLD SALTZMAN COMMUNITY SERVICES CENTER

Provides state-of-the art evidence-based psychological treatments (cognitive behavioral therapy) for individuals suffering from anxiety and/or depression. The Center also provides a thorough diagnostic evaluation to assess current symptoms which includes a detailed interview conducted by a clinician as well as the administration of self-report questionnaires. Also the center will conduct research on the nature and treatment of anxiety and depression. Problems Treated at the Anxiety and Depression Program include: Panic Disorder; Generalized Anxiety Disorder; Specific Phobia; Social Anxiety; Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder; Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Depression. There is a fee and no insurance is accepted. Call for an appointment or to speak with a staff member who can help determine if the program would be appropriate for the problem you are experiencing.
