A12-month school program that provides intensive clinical and special education services to enhance the functioning of children and their families with the ultimate goal of maintaining children in the community and preserving the family unit. Program serves 18 boys and girls (5-12 yrs at admission) with a Committee on Special Education classification of emotionally disturbed or psychiatric diagnosis with psychotic features, or if without psychotic features, experiencing a functional deficit in home, school or peer relations.

Provides prevention, intervention, and education services. Offers community, professional, and school-based education on domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and dating violence. Provides advocacy, accompaniment, referrals, emergency shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, and emotional support to individuals experiencing domestic and/or sexual violence.

Offers outpatient mental health and substance abuse services for individuals ages 5 years and older.

Provides comprehensive psychiatric outpatient care to adults who request treatment and who suffer from a psychiatric disorder.

Provides outpatient individual, family, and group counseling. Specializes in services for victims of domestic violence and child abuse. Does not prescribe medication.

Offers an anger management group for children ages 8 to 13 years.

The Finger Lakes Region PGRC is a program of the New York Council on Problem Gambling. Also provides peer counseling in risk avoidance and sexually transmitted (STI) infections; relationships, and parenting classes. Referrals for free nurse read pregnancy test and onsite ultrasound and lactation consultant services.
