Liberty Resources Mobile Crisis team is a partnership with Guthrie Cortland Regional Medical Center . Cortland County Crisis Line is a 24-hour service for individuals experiencing an emotional or mental health crisis. Professional Mental Health Center staff will provide consultation as required. Mobile Crisis will be offered for individuals showing signs of behavioral or mental health issues that pose a threat to one's stability within their home or community. We're mobile, so we come out in the community to evaluate, prevent and resolve crisis.Cortland County Mobile Crisis Team The Cortland County Mobile Crisis Team is composed of local, trained mental health professionals that can provide after-hours crisis services for children and adults. Mobile Crisis was created to provide crisis intervention and support to individuals dealing with a behavioral or mental health crisis. Until now, individuals have had no choice but to go to CPEP or the Emergency Room after hours due to lack of resources.

Transdisciplinary staff includes social workers, psychologists, therapists and medical support team. Family support and crisis intervention counseling provided.

Provides on-site evaluation and crisis intervention for all residents of Nassau County. Offers an alternative to police intervention or to assist police with the goal of minimizing a potential crisis in the community. Team members assess the problem, evaluate the psychological condition, functional level, environment, and safety of the individual(s) or family in crisis. Referrals are made to the most appropriate treatment provider or facility, using all available resources in the community. In addition, there is follow up on all referrals to assure continuity. The team is mobile and designed to respond quickly to individuals and/or families in need of crisis intervention at home or anywhere in the community. The team members travel to the home or location in Nassau County to provide on-site, professional and supportive crisis intervention for any child or adult experiencing an emotional disturbance, interpersonal crisis or psychiatric emergency.
