Peer Advocacy - Mental Health Association
Peer Advocates provide an outreach program for recipients of mental health services in the community and for patients receiving treatment at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center in the Behavioral Health Service Unit.
Peer-Linkage Advocates work with patients, family members, and outside sources, providing reassurance and notifying patients of all available services. The goal of Peer Advocates is to see that each patient has access to the best and most suitable resources.

Family Support Program - MHAWNY
A peer run program providing support, education, and advocacy to families who have a child/adolescent that has emotional and/or behavioral health challenges. Provides a short-term respite program for families that qualify. Hosts a monthly support group for transition age youth (teens and young adults 18 and over).
Also provides support to the behavioral health units of BryLin Hospital and Erie County Medical Center.
