Throughout the year, Community Relations Unit visits each Suffolk County School District as well as multiple clubs and various organizations. Its main goal is to bridge the gap between Law Enforcement and the members of the Community. Provides counseling and outpatient treatment services for individuals experiencing substance use disorders. Offers special treatment services which include MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment), Women's Programs, Adolescent Program, MICA (Mentally Impaired Chemically Addicted) Program, Opiate Treatment Services, and Gambling Program. Also provides DWI evaluations and offers prevention education related to alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use for youth and adults, including the Alcohol & Drug Awareness Program for At-Risk Youth.
