Provides a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation program for men.

Services provided are inpatient, medically supervised stabilization also known as detox. The length of stay varies depending on each patient's needs. After stabilization, patients may be admitted to inpatient rehabilitation which is a 30 day program providing psycho-education groups and individual therapy. All treatment is evidence based and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Motivational Enhancement Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills are the core therapies of the program. Wellness is also an integral part of treatment and includes creative arts, ceramics, yoga, dance/movement, massage, fitness and nutrition. The residential level of care is provided as a step-down program from rehabilitation and length of stay can be 90 days or longer. Reintegration is key to the program. During the patient's stay, they will receive individual therapy and attend work, a volunteer job, or an outpatient program that assists with reintegrating patients back into the community and home. Patients may be admitted directly to any of the three levels of care provided, if appropriate.

A medically supervised 16-bed detox center adjoined to the back of UConnectCare's Atwater Community Residence in Batavia. Provides a continuum of care under one roof to enable people in need to access short-term (usually 3-7 days) detoxification treatment and services. Center is fully staffed by medical and substance use counseling professionals specially trained and certified to assist people who require short-term services. Care and treatment includes meeting with a counselor every day, participating in individual and group therapy sessions, and receiving support from peer advocates prior to medically-assisted treatment. After detoxification, patients can transition to the Atwater Community Residence, a 17-bed facility for men and women that provides counseling and treatment services for up to a six-month stay (see separate listing for details on Atwater Community Residence). HOURS: Intake: Monday-Friday, 9am-11am. Inpatient Care: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Services provided to all persons regardless of gender, race, age, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, HIV/AIDS status, pregnancy, history of contact with the criminal justice system, physical or mental disability, or lack of cooperation by significant others in the treatment process.

Women's issues, criminal justice coordination, methadone maintenance, motivational enhancement, family education, and vocational readiness are addressed.
