Offers residents of Nassau, Suffolk and Queens a unique Certified Financial Planner Program with a curriculum focused on developing 21st century financial planning skills. This intensive program prepares accountants, attorneys, bankers, insurance agents, brokers, security representatives and other professionals to better help their clients achieve their financial goals. In association with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., Hofstra University Continuing Education also offers this program to prepare individuals with the educational requirements to qualify for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) exam. To qualify for the exam, students must successfully complete seven courses. Sample Course offerings include: Fundamentals of Financial Planning; Risk and Insurance Planning; Investment Planning; Income Tax Planning; Employee Benefits and Retirement Planning; Estate Planning and Certified Financial Planning Capstone Case Applications. Offers The Veteran's Business Program; a service of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) which is a program designed to enable men and women who have served in the Armed Forces to take full advantage of the opportunities presented by owning and operating their own business. In addition to the comprehensive services offered by the SBDC, the Veteran's Business Program also offers mentorship and networking services designed for veteran business owners. Provides business counseling for businesses in Sullivan. Helps with organization, financial planning, health insurance information, promotion, and tourism.

Workforce Development offers non-credit courses to help individuals meet their career goals in areas such as Emergency Medical Technician; Advanced Emergency Medical Technician; Commercial Drone Piloting; Pharmacy Technician; Sterile Processing Technician; Landscape Design, Installation, and Management; Floral Design; Cannabis Cultivation; Retail Cannabis; and Cannabis Processing. A CDL Program is available on-site through 160 Driving Academy. In addition to career focused programs, Workforce Development offers skill courses to individuals in areas such as Basic Life Support, Notary Public, Driving Education, and Motorcycle Training. Customized Training is offered to companies in areas such as Adobe; Excel; Outlook; Communication and Leadership; Budgeting and Finance; First Aid, CPR, and AED; and a variety of OSHA mandated topics. There is a wide variety of topics that can be covered in customized training; all offerings are not listed here.

Provides youth and adults with employment and training oriented programs such as job readiness skills, skill building, pre-employment skills, employment referrals, job placement, post-employment services, entrepreneurial development and career directed training.
