Regulates professional boxing and wrestling contests, matches, and exhibitions within the State of New York pursuant to Title 25 of the Unconsolidated Laws. Comprised of three members appointed by the governor, in addition to a physician, a Medical Advisory Board, and staff, SAC administers licenses, enforces rules and regulations, and ensures that medical and safety standards are being met. It provides training seminars for referees, judges, and inspectors, oversees hundreds of events annually across the state, and is committed to promoting and maintaining the health, safety and integrity of its regulated athletic activities.

* Administers 55 poison control centers in the US that provide professional advice by toxicology specialists. All poison centers can be reached by calling the same number.

Records all real property recordings including but not limited to:deeds, mortgages, liens, survey maps, leases, UCC's.

* Provides public safety information and services in the area of public safety, including: Emergency services and management. Drug use disorders. Crime forensics lab. Public safety radio communication. Fire bureau. EMS bureau. Traffic and passenger safety. Weights and measures. Monroe County Probation Department, and others.

Provides policy leadership, program direction, and administrative oversight for the integrated workforce investment system under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). WIA supports economic growth and barrier-free access to programs and services for adults, dislocated workers, youth, and special populations.

Serves individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities in Tompkins and Tioga Counties with Article 16 clinic services. Residential services and Tompkins Day Services program are components of this office.

Accepts complaints regarding communication services such as TV, Internet, Phone, Radio or Emergency Communications.

Provides technical training and coordination of Emergency Medical Services.

Supports and services for individuals with developmental disabilities, working with local governments and not-for-profit voluntary providers.Services include, but not limited to: advocacy; public education assistive/adaptive technology and environmental modifications caregiver training, family support services counseling day habilitation; employment, training, and vocational opportunities information and referral life planning, recreation residential opportunities respite service coordinationClinical services include: audiology, nursing, nutrition, occupational therapy, physical therapy, podiatry, psychology, social work and speech and language pathology.
