CPE is a professional association dedicated to providing an open exchange of information related to business continuity, crisis and emergency management. Keeps members on the cutting edge of the latest events and trends in business continuity, crisis, and emergency management by providing educational programs and opportunities to develop relationships with peers. Long Island chapter is run out of the main headquarters in New York City but meetings are held at various places on Long Island.

Provides first response to a disaster or emergency situation where both personal and property damage has occurred, through search and rescue, mass shelters, providing food and water, and more. Also assists companies and organization prepare by public awareness and management organization.

Provides essential coordination of emergency preparedness, planning, response, and recovery.

Patients impacted by a disaster may also request assistance by email.
