Offers a choice-based food pantry to meet the needs of our members and people in the local community, many who live below the federal poverty level, at no cost. The pantries are managed and run by peer staff, with a specific focus on Veterans each Tuesday at Charlotte’s Table. Anyone in need may visit our food pantries on a weekly basis. Food pantry accepts donations of non-perishable food items Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm. To donate perishable or frozen foods, please contact the pantry coordinator to schedule a drop-off date and time.

Offers a program that gives toys and gifts to low-income families at Christmas. Also accepts donations of new toys and gifts from corporations and individuals.

Enables the public to directly support the men and women in uniform by sponsoring a care package along with a personal message as a way to improve the lives of the deployed troops around the world, especially to those in Iraq and Afghanistan. Each care package contains, at a minimum, one prepaid international phone card, sunscreen, snacks, playing cards, toiletries and other items requested by service members. Donations help purchase and ship these items.

Accepts donations of new or good used furniture, household items, clothes, shoes, toys, and books. These donations are for the thrift shops which help to generate money for the services the Salvation Army provides to the community.

The Food Cupboard is open year round on Saturday mornings for grocery distribution (8:00 am-10:30 am at St. Ann's School Cafeteria)

Provides a Loan Closet with durable medical equipment, communication devices, wheelchairs, and other similar equipment, for anyone with a muscular disease. Also helps with payment assistance for repairs of assisitive equipment. Accepts donations of medical equipment which apply to those who with muscular diseases, especially communication devices and wheelchairs, and large durable medical equipment.

Boxes of new paperback books are prepared for use and distribution to area service agencies who serve a large number of children and teens unable to attend library programs. Designed for community organizations to facilitate their own "Story Hour" for the children and youth they serve.

Provides a 1-week supply of non-perishable food to low income individuals and families in the community. Also accepts donations of non-perishable foods.

Provides free school supplies for low-income school-age children in the community. Also accepts donations of new pack backs and school supplies.This program is dependent on donations. Check during last 2 weeks in August for availability.

Provides a program that gives vehicles to low income adults, with children, and are working and/or taking classes to improve their financial independence. Also accepts donations of good used or decent running vehicles.

Offers new and secondhand items, including clothing, toys and other material goods at lower than retail prices. Also accepts donations. Goodwill Industries utilizes income from thrift store sales to support community programs. For information about accepted items call for details.

Provides a clothing bank, primarily for male veterans. Also accepts donations of new of good used clothing, primarily for men. Also accepts donations of winter coats during November to benefit veterans who are in need of cold weather clothing.

Adopt-A-Family program allows people who want to provide personalized holiday assistance, to select a family of any size, and provide the family's wish list. This program also accepts donations of gift cards that can be used for food, gas or movies.

Accepts donations of new and used furniture, doors, windows, plumbing and heating, electrical, lighting, hardware, lumber, cabinets, appliances, tile and much more. These items are kept in stock to be used for home construction and repairs or are placed in the habitat store and warehouse to be sold at bargain prices.

Provides toys and gifts for children of low income families during the holidays. Donations accepted.

Pets Alive rescues and rehabilitates animals who have been victims of neglect or abuse by providing shelter. Donations accepted, volunteers needed. Adoptions are also offered.

Provides work-related clothing to low income women seeking employment. Women are referred to this program by agencies and organizations that deal with a variety of women's issues. The organizations may include job training programs, domestic violence agencies, and incarcerated women programs. Each client receives individual attention by appointment only. The program will accept donations from private residents, organizations and businesses of new or slightly used clothing as long as the clothing is in excellent wearable condition, laundered or dry cleaned and preferably on hangers. A Professional Women's Group (PWG) is available for women who have completed the program and are working. Donate new and gently loved women’s business clothing and accessories such as handbags, scarves and jewelry. Call us at 631-451-9127 if you would like to make a clothing or monetary donation.

Provides holiday food baskets for Thanksgiving and Christmas, along with a community holiday meal to individuals and families in need. Also accepts donations of holiday foods and new toys.Thanksgiving registration in person 1st 3 weeks in November.Christmas registration in person 1st 3 weeks in December.

Coordinates food drives, prepares packages for distribution and supports holiday meals and community events. Also operates a clothes closet providing clothing and household items at no cost. The Mission also partners with various organizations to provide coats, sweaters, hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, socks and blankets to adults and children in need. Call for additional information.
