Living Together is a forum for discussion of unmet service needs using advocacy, community education, outreach, lobbying efforts and collaboration with service providers to improve access to care and support those needing services.

Offers information on available services, activities, support, and advocacy for those who are deaf, hard of hearing and their families. Also provides a quarterly newsletter, which aims towards the need of individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, and their families. Anyone is welcome to send in articles or information for publication.

Offers a new format, full color magazine covering a broad range of topics related to death and the survival of consciousness. Mailed two times per year to members, or e-mailed if preferred.

The "Celebrate Life!" Newsletter is published bi-monthly and features new cancer information, columns by physicians, articles by support program staff, reader contributions, a program calendar, and announcements of special events. Available to anyone whose life is touched by cancer. The Complementary Medicine Discussion Group focuses on complementary therapies, treatments and techniques with occasional guest speakers.

Provides information about upcoming cultural events. Profiles artists and art organizations. Check the website.

Implements services to meet the social, economic, and physical needs of senior citizens, improve their quality of life, and enable them to remain active and viable members of the community. Services include: - Medical Transportation - Senior Discount Card - Monthly newsletter - Information and referral services - Recreational and leisure programming, including outings and day trips Also operates two Senior Centers in the City of Buffalo: Autumnwood Manor Senior Citizen Center and Summer/Richmond Senior Citizen Center (see separate listings).

Grants wishes to children ages 2 1/2 to 18 years (must be under the age of 18 at the time of referral) who have been diagnosed with a life threatening medical condition and who have not received a wish from any other organization.

Collects, preserves, and exhibits objects and documents about the whaling industry and whale conservation today and about Cold Spring Harbor and Long Island maritime history for its diverse public and school/group visitors. There are self-guided tours on tapes for French, German, Italian, and Spanish speakers. Provides a Speakers Bureau which presents on topics dealing with maritime history, whaling, biology, marine mammals, and other related topics. Publishes newsletter titled A Whaling Account. Offers information and referrals to individuals couples looking for specialists in infertility and reproduction issues, including family building for the LGBT community. Also provides a monthly newsletter, special mailings, online access and other formats of information to individuals seeking fertility treatments, medical articles, and other related materials.

Provides information and support to caregivers, specifically to individuals who are caring for older persons. Services include caregiver counseling, consultation, and referral; caregiver respite, caregiver support groups, Project Lifesaver, health promotion program, and an information center with books, pamphlets, and brochures.
