The New Dawn Initiative, sustained through Peaceprints of WNY’s Project Blue program, provides reentry-focused support for high-risk incarcerated individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use needs. Participants work weekly with a case manager to assist in the development of individualized case plans and can engage in services offered directly through Peaceprints and community partners or through linkages to community-based organizations. Available supports may include housing assistance, education and employment services, mental health and substance use treatment, public benefits assistance, and other reentry-related services.
