A mobile multidisciplinary team designed to provide ongoing psychiatric support treatment and rehabilitation to severely and persistently mentally ill. The team works to help clients maintain their community ties and works to prevent the need for future hospitalization.

Responsible for the service and enforcement of orders of protection throughout Suffolk County. They also arrest individuals charged with violating orders of protection and those with family offense related warrants. The Unit provides victims with a safe refuge by removing batterers from the home, seizing weapons and executing arrest warrants against the perpetrators of domestic violence. This is a statewide program that automatically enrolls any Central Hudson heating or non-heating customer into our bill discount program to receive 12 monthly credits. The credits are based on the service type and amount of HEAP received. Customers are also enrolled in our Budget Billing program, but does have the option to opt-out. If a customer heats with an alternate fuel such as oil, propane, wood, pellets, they can send Central Hudson their Notice of Decision letter verifying that the HEAP payment went to the alternate heating company and Central Hudson will enroll them into the program.
