Day Habilitation services are designed to help people of all ages with developmental disabilities to develop and maintain skills, abilities, and interests while being active members of their communities. Support individuals with independent living skill development, goal achievement and community involvement. Offers educational instruction, as well as opportunities for social and recreational activities. Experiential learning opportunities and volunteering offered through community partnerships. Transportation available. Medication monitoring. Preauthorization for Day Habilitation Services is done through OPWDD.

Lifeline is a personal emergency response system which offers seniors or those with disabilities, independence and support so they may remain in their homes. A device which the person carries, or wears on their person, at all times, has a HELP button which summons emergency services within seconds, 24 hours a day.

SLC provides the support and medical care for those who have suffered a stroke, including stroke rehabilitation.

Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders, who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace worldwide. Rotarians develop community service projects and support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, teachers, and other professionals, and vocational and career development. Meetings are Wednesdays at 7:45am.

The Hotline is staffed by food safety specialists with backgrounds in home economics, nutrition, and food technology. The majority of calls come from consumers regarding how to properly handle their food, including food safety during power outages: food manufacturer recalls; food borne illnesses; and the inspection of meat, poultry, and egg products.

Help veterans obtain disability (and thus, often, health care) benefits and apply for discharge upgrades. Students may help veterans submit disability claims to the Department of Veterans Affairs, work on appeals of denied claims, and help veterans obtain increases in disability ratings, for cases in which increases are justified by a veteran’s service record and health status. Students also may help veterans upgrade other-than-honorable discharges from the military so that these veterans become eligible for disability and health care benefits. Working alongside physicians, other clinicians and experienced attorneys, students help veterans with service-connected disabilities establish that their disabling conditions are service-connected. Provides many activities including hot and cold lunches three times a week, day trips, overnight trips, special movie dates, exercise and line dancing classes, just to name a few. Seniors are welcome to join the nearest center and to participate in all its activities.

Provides an outreach program to educate the public, especially those in high risk groups, about AIDS/HIV, and to preventive measures. Also offers confidential HIV testing and counseling.

Offers anyone in need of a cool down location during extreme heat waves or power shut downs.

Evaluation of motor, cognitive, visual and perceptual skills to determine if individual should be driving. Referral to special driving schools when appropriate.

Provides tuition-free Catholic education to economically disadvantaged young men, many from troubled school districts and mostly immigrants or sons of immigrants in grades 5-8

A residential home in Elmont for adults with persistent mental illness. Provides a 24 hour community residence that serves men and women 18-65 years of age, who suffer from mental illness. Services include daily living skills training, socialization skills, medication management, substance abuse prevention, assertiveness/self-advocacy training, case management, health services, and parenting education. Additional programs focus on community integration, vocational/educational skills development and rehabilitation counseling.

Offers alumni, family members of current faculty, staff and students as well as affiliates and local residents the opportunity to "have fun and be active" by joining one of the Center for Recreation and Sports (CRS) Membership Programs. All CRS membership programs allow the member to come and work out/play in our new, state of the art recreational facilities during regularly scheduled hours. These facilities include: State of the art, 5,000 sq.ft. Recreational Fitness Center including 28 cardio machines, Cybex selectorized weight circuit and 14 free weight stations, cable machines and a stretching area; 4 lane, 25 yard swimming pool; 1/10 mile indoor track with scenic views to the outdoors; 3 court gymnasium for basketball, volleyball and badminton; Indoor racket courts (1 conversion racquetball court and 1 dedicated squash court); Outdoor tennis courts (4) and Locker rooms with grooming stations and shower rooms. Provides a service coordinator for adults with developmental disabilities to help develop a tailored plan to access the necessary services to meet their needs. These service coordinators also provide advocacy, assistance, and support in dealing with government, community, private organizations, health care, and schools.

Educates students within the school district boundary.

Provides quality service and advocacy for New York State veterans, armed forces members, their dependents and survivors, ensuring they receive benefits granted by law for their service to New York and the nation. Some of the services provided include: Career Assessment, Referral to Jobs, Contacting Employers on your behalf, Resume preparation assistance, Information on Federal, State and Local Civil Service Opportunities, Job Search Planning, Labor Market Information, Information on direct appointment to Civil Service positions and Referral to other agencies that provide services to veterans. Offers a medical model day program for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia or seniors with memory loss, which includes therapeutic and recreational activities, nursing support, physical and occupational therapy, social work services, community trips, strolling art garden and therapy pool.
