Offers a range of services to emotionally and physically injured crime victims in Albany County. Services are available to anyone of any age who has experienced a sexual assault or other interpersonal crime at any time in his or her life, or who has been affected by someone else's crime. Provides advocacy with the criminal justice system and law enforcement agencies, confidential crisis intervention counseling and individual, family, and group therapy, assistance with filing New York State Office of Victim Services claims, and 24 hour confidential crisis hotline including a text chat feature. Offers emergency room accompaniment, case management services, prevention education, and mobilization programs. Volunteers are needed to work on the sexual assault hotline, perform clerical duties, and act as court advocates.

• Provides early education, health, mental health, nutrition and social services for low-income pregnant women and families with children through Early Head Start program. * Provides educational experiences, medical and dental screening, nutritional meals, counseling and opportunities for parental involvement to help prepare low-income children and children with disabilities to enter and succeed in school through the Head Start Program.

Provides free legal advice about civil (non-criminal) legal issues (including consumer problems, housing problems, divorce and other family matters, special education and school issues, domestic violence, employment, disability issues, unemployment benefits, welfare, Medicaid, food stamps, and other public benefits).

• Provides a range of services including assessment, crisis prevention meeting with clients who are at risk of escalating into a crisis, supportive counseling, information and referrals, linkage with appropriate community based mental health services for ongoing treatment, and follow up.

Provides a food pantry for individuals in need as well as other basic necessities, such as soap, laundry detergent, and diapers, when available. Provides 3 meals a day and 5 days per family member.

• Offers a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), which works with seniors and their caregivers to arrange for and monitor all of their medical, social and daily living support services. Services include: Medical care Home health aid services Transportation ElderONE PACE Day Centers Rehabilitation services Acute hospital care Nursing in-home care Durable medical equipment and supplies Nutritional counseling and meals Prescription drugs Recreation therapy Consumer Direct Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP)
