Offers a certificate program in Business Administration. This program provides students with the necessary skills for immediate entry into today's business world. Most courses in the program can be applied toward the A.S. degree in Business Administration or the A.A.S. degree in Marketing. Identifies unserved and underserved children and adults and connects them with generic and specialized services. Bilingual staff is available to work with Hispanic families.

Community-Based mentoring includes our traditional, one-to-one mentoring programs where we match children between the ages of 7and 16(our Littles) with a caring adult mentor, aged 21 or older(our Bigs). All volunteer mentors are extensively interviewed, screened and trained. BBBSLI provides every match with a professional program team member to monitor the relationship and offer guidance during its entirety.

Primary responsibilities include emergency planning and management, fire service and EMS coordination, and training of first responders. Works in the field and "behind the scenes" at most large events in the county and during disaster response and recovery.

Monitors new building conditions and construction and oversees the maintenance of older multi-family structures. Enforces the state and local building codes and housing standards and ordinances. Reviews applications for permits of new buildings, repairs, alterations, signs, and rooming houses. Accepts complaints from tenants about conditions the landlord fails to resolve.

Offers therapist-monitored exercise sessions using the walk-aide and RT300 cycle to help improve leg muscle circulation and strength.
