The High School Equivalency/TASC Program is designed to serve students 16 and 17 years old through the Cortlandville Campus in Cortland. TASC student transfers from their high school for AM sessions at Cortlandville Campus for 12.5 hours of instruction per week.In addition to preparation for the TASC test, time is devoted to career exploration, job readiness skills, counseling, social skills, coping skills, and problem solving skills. Students are encouraged to participate in Career & Technical Education for the remaining half of the school day, although many prefer to work part or full time.

Provides free assistance with school-related questions and concerns to families of children with developmental disabilities, on an individual case basis, to resolve specific or ongoing educational concerns.

Provides assistance to developmentally disabled parents with navigating the school system for their children. Call for further information.

Makes decisions on school curriculum, decisions regarding discipline, school closures and other educations issues which affect the teachers and students. Parents/ guardians wants to gain information about these matters can call the administration office.

Offers a wide range of licensing, records, and informational services to town residents. Licensing and permits include marriage licenses, hunting/fishing/trapping licenses, disabled parking permits, dog licenses, block party permits, peddler/solicitor licenses, and racing/wagering licenses. Other services include processing passport applications as well as maintaining town records and archives. Prepares and collects property taxes for residents of the Town Jefferson from January through May 31st. After May 31st all paperwork goes to the Schoharie County Treasurer's Office.

Offers a full range of services and activities for adults and children including computer access, programs for seniors, and summer reading events for children and teens.

Responsible for the enforcement of laws related to the construction, repair, demolition, removal or relocation of buildings or structures. Also responsible for researching, establishing, maintaining, and overseeing the implementation of general and specific/area plans for land use.

Offers a confidential Alcoholics Anonymous support group at the center. This group helps recovering alcoholics to stay sober.

Provides comprehensive educational program to prepare every student within the district to meet graduation requirement as set by the state. Includes extra curricular activities that give students a wide range of opportunities to be involved in student life.

An education and intervention program including counseling focusing on AIDS/HIV prevention.

Offers transportation technology courses. Course offerings include: Automotive Repair Industry Certification Preparation (ASE); Automotive Skills; Auto Body Technician; Motorcycle Service and Repair; Auto Body Repair; Small Engine Repair; Marine Repair; and Basic Auto Mechanics and Maintenance. All programs offered at various sites throughout Suffolk County. Course offerings varies each semester. Also offered are Professional Automotive Services for the public. Automotive services are available in Oakdale (MTC) location. Services available October through June. Students are under the supervision of their instructors and can perform a wide range of automotive and tire services including: Car Inspection; Oil Change, Lube & Filter; Tire Repair, Rotation & Wheel Alignment; Brake Service and Belts & Hoses. Provides postal services to area residents.

Self-help support groups for relatives and friends of individuals with mental illness. The groups are professionally led. Group members discuss their feelings, ways of coping, and techniques in dealing with mental illness. Guest speakers will discuss topics such as social services and entitlements, medication management, estate planning, latest research, and various mental health services and programs in the community.

Educates students within the school district boundary.

Provides income-based housing to families and individuals with low income, seniors, and those with disabilities.

Provides a wide range of activities, including field trips, reading materials, educational speakers, basketball, racquetball, aerobics, volleyball, dances, and a variety of community services. The center has billiards tables, foosball, television, video games, and a gymnasium. Provides an indoor skate park with ramps and slides.

Provides caregivers assistance with accessing resources, individual counseling, resource library, respite services, Alzheimer's support groups, community educational programs and guest speakers.

Provides vocational habilitation to developmentally disabled individuals ages 16 and over who reside in Suffolk and Nassau Counties with their families, or agency-operated group homes. Provides assistance in obtaining and maintaining employment with the help of a job coach.

Local municipal government services.

Provides services that include residential habilitation, community habilitation, prevocational services, respite, supported employment, assistive technology, environmental modifications, family education and training, plan of care support services, consolidated supports and services, fiscal management services, and intensive behavioral services.
