The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Reserarch Fund, Inc., supports both new and established researchers investigating the causes, prevention and treatment of breast cancer. Research includes studies of the genetic, molecular, cellular and environmental factors involved in the development and progression of breast cancer application of the knowledge thus gained to educate medical professionals and increase public awareness for the prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer and studies of the outcomes of breast cancer detection and treatment of breast cancer and studies of the outcomes of breast cancer detection treatment on the patient, their families and society.

Offers a camp that is designed for boys and girls of all skill levels to improve their game through both technical and tactical instruction. No matter how far you advance in soccer, your footwork, passing, trapping, heading and shooting can always be refined, and every improvement can make a big difference on the field. This challenging camp will help players understand the fundamentals of soccer using a vast array of game situations. Campers train with not only Richard Nuttall and Simon Riddiough but also many of Hofstras Division I players will be on hand. The training doesn’t stop there; many expert coaches from all over the United States and Europe are on-hand as well. These coaches believe that the emphasis on development is by doing, encouraging soccer instincts through enjoyable small-sided games and game-related learning in a positive environment. Each camper should wear daily: cotton T-shirt, athletic shorts, shin guards and soccer cleats or sneakers. Campers must also bring a water bottle. Advocacy services for students with special education needs

Provides an integrated preschool setting which enrolls children with and without disabilities. The class setting offers half and full day sessions with individualized and small groups of various subjects, working at the levels of verbal behavior which range from emergent listener to emergent reader/writer.

Provides multidisciplinary evaluation to determine if child is in need of services individual therapy sessions (speech, occupational and physical therapies) applied behavior analysis (ABA) and individual and group special education. Also offers parent workshops (educational and support groups) and consultations and conferences with parents. A Mommy and Me Class is also available. Services can be provided in home or at school.
