A cost sharing prescription plan for senior citizens who need help paying for their prescriptions. The deductions are based on yearly incomes, seniors with moderate incomes pay a low quarterly fee, and participate in the Fee Plan and seniors with higher incomes meet an annual deductible, and participate in the Deductible Plan.

Facilities that store petroleum products in tank systems regulated under Article XV of the Nassau County Public Health Ordinance (NCPHO) must register such tanks with the Nassau County Department of Health (NCDOH). Nassau County is committed to protecting our groundwater from petroleum contamination. The proper closure of small underground petroleum tanks, such as heating oil tanks, can reduce that threat. Provides affordable and safe housing for seniors ages 62 and up who are income eligible. These independent apartment communities (not assisted living) include one and two bedroom apartments, depending on location. Monthly rent is based on the tenant's and/or couple's adjusted income. As an added cost savings, some utilities are included. Each apartment features a kitchen with spacious cupboards, a stove, and a refrigerator. For added comfort, each complex is equipped with secure entrances. Additional safety features include: stove fire prevention devices, grab bars in the bathroom, emergency pull-cords, and a 24-hour response system. Amenities vary.

Offers an Adventure Camp program, incorporating both on campus and off campus activities. The program is modeled on the popular Adventure Education programs that are being featured more frequently in school curriculums across the country. The Adventure Camp programs are one-week sessions for Boys & Girls (Ages 12-17). The program aims to create a fun and positive small group experience that fosters leadership skills and encourages campers to challenge themselves. Our goal is to have the campers finish the program with a sense of accomplishment, self-confidence, and a stronger sense of themselves. Experienced Physical Education teachers direct and oversee the program with additional expertise offered from on-site staff at the various trip locations. Established as a successor to Children's Court. Individuals, attorneys, and agencies may initiate a proceeding in the Family Court with the filing of a petition. Petition forms are available through the website, or upon request from the General Clerk's Office. Petitions may be filed in the Family Court to enforce or modify an order of another court including support, custody and visitation provisions of Supreme Court divorce judgements. However, divorce or separation matters are under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Supreme Court, and may not be filed in Family Court. Child support and spousal support payments (other than "pay direct") are handled through the Child Support Enforcement Bureau (CSEB), an agency of New York State. Accounting questions including arrears, issues pertaining to the suspension of licenses(drivers', recreational or professional), income tax or lottery interceptions, restraint of assets, or Department of Taxation and Finance Tax warrant inquiries should be directed to CSEB. Integrated Domestic Violence Parts (IDV) are under the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court, and are under the "one judge, one family" precept, enabling members of a family to address Family Court, Criminal Court (District Court), and matrimonial issues before a single judge.
