Other services include processing passport applications as well as maintaining town records and archives. Prepares and collects property taxes for residents of the Town of Greenwich from January through July 1st. After July 1st all paperwork goes to the Washington County Treasurer's Office.

A friendship program which matches volunteers from the community with persons who are receiving treatment for mental health. Once a match is established, the volunteer sends in monthly updates detailing time spent with the client along with any concerns about the relationship. Volunteers must commit four hours a month for one year.

Offers many training opportunities to develop and upgrade skills necessary to begin a career in the manufacturing field. The Center offers several programs such as CNC Operator, Welding, IPC certification, PLC/Industrial Automation, Mastercam, and Soldering and electronic assembly, among others. Each program offers a Completion Certificate upon successful completion, and offers the opportunity of National Certification in some areas. These courses are designed for the incumbent worker as well as those individuals interested in entering the manufacturing field. The AMTC provides students with a better understanding of what is required of those working in the manufacturing environment through both classroom and hands-on learning. Our location is a Certified Remote Testing Facility and provides associated testing in IPC, AWS, NATE, Certiport, and NIMS Certifications. Training is located at the Michael J. Provides air conditioning units to eligible individuals with documented medical conditions that are worsened by extreme heat.

SAIL provides information and assistance concerning long term care planning for individuals with disabilities, family members, and other interested parties. Information and assistance is provided for establishing Health Care Proxies, Living Wills, Supplemental Needs Trusts, and accessing long term care services. SAIL provides information and assistance to persons with disabilities, family members, and other interested parties concerning Medicare, Medicaid, and long-term care insurance. The center also provides insurance counseling and advisement for choosing the most appropriate coverage, as well as information concerning co-insurance and gap policies.

Offers Speech-impaired individuals who have their own TTY’s the ability to call Suffolk County Disabilities Government directly by telephone to conduct business. Video Relay Sign language interpreters and a 24-Hour Statewide TTY Relay Service is also available. In emergencies, persons with TTY’s may call 911 or 631-924-8811 for dispatch of an ambulance, police or fire department anywhere within Suffolk County, 24 hours a day. 24-hour statewide TTY relay service is provided through the cooperation of local telephone companies for calls within New York State phone. Assures safe drinking water for residents of Rockland County. Inspections and review of water sources as well as water quality sampling.

Monitors new building conditions and construction and oversees the maintenance of older multi-family structures. Enforces the state and local building codes and housing standards and ordinances. Reviews applications for permits of new buildings, repairs, alterations, signs, and rooming houses. Accepts complaints from tenants about conditions the landlord fails to resolve.
