A program where young adult men, of similar backgrounds help support and educate male teenagers against the dangers of gangs, violence, alcohol/drug abuse, and also go on field trips and other fun activities.This program addresses the needs of the cityâs most at- risk male youth through mentoring, youth leadership, job readiness training, and public speaking skills. The youth involved in this program are placed in after-school employment opportunities as an alternative to unsupervised time. In addition, youth are taken on educational field trips and other fun or cultural outings.

The Sanctuary provides shelter for runaway and homeless youth 12-17 years of age and youth in need of respite services. The Children's Village has operated the program since 2009 and is located on the main campus in Valhalla, NY. Transportation is provided from anywhere in Rockland to the shelter, to and from school, medical appointments, services, etc. In addition, The Sanctuary offers individual, family and group counseling that encourages the involvement of parents or legal guardians; information and referrals, outreach to local youth; and aftercare plans.

SLC provides specialized clinics and medical support for those with chronic wounds.

Offers assistance to individuals with disabilities with job preparation, development, training, and coaching within the community. Services also include travel training, assessment, and orientation.

Lavalle Stadium; Joe Nathan Field; Island Federal Credit Union Arena; University Tennis Courts; University Field, University Pool, University Track and Dubin Family Athletic Performance Center. The Sports Complex is the home to summer camps offered to youth in various sports. Most athletic facilities may be used for recreational purposes when they are not scheduled for classes, intercollegiate, intramural or special events.
