The officers of the First Precinct are assigned to a wide variety of tasks including community policing, motor patrol, gang enforcement, school resource officers, and quality of life enhancement. Our COPE and CSU officers work on quality of life issues ranging from traffic problems to drug complaints. The precinct commanding officer hosts precinct wide community meetings.
