Services: 24 Hour Emergency Hotline, Donor Blood Program, Hospital Transportation, Hospital Visitation, Hospital Shabbos Accommodations, Hospital Kosher Meals, Senior Citizen Services, Medical Equipment Gemach, Medical Referrals, Women’s Health Care Project, Cancer Patient Support, Yedei Chesed / Services to the developmental disabled, C.A.P.S. / Center for Applied Psychology.

Provides Information and Referral, Reference, Services, Reader's Advisory and programs for children and young adults from birth through Grade 12 as well as parents. Programs and services include, but are not limited to, storytime, arts and crafts, Homework Help, E-Reference, and Summer Reading Programs.

Offered together The Hofstra University/LIHSA summer partnership provides an unparalleled experience for students in Grades 7-12 to be guided by faculty mentors and staff who understand the unique needs of young artists. These classes are held on the LIHSA campus. LIHSA’s facilities are specially designed to support the school’s mission. LIHSA’s 38,000 square feet across three buildings are filled with professional workspaces and facilities. It is situated on 4.5 acres in Syosset Long Island, with plenty of courtyard space to have a picnic lunch and draw artistic inspiration. With four dance studios on campus, a larger theatre that holds 350 audience members with lighting and sound equipment, two smaller black box theatres, an audio-recording studio, numerous classroom spaces, practice rooms, art studios, film editing room, dark room, digital music space and a carpentry shop for scenic design, it is a great place to spend for a young artist to spend their summer. Programs are flexible; choose to enroll in a one week offering or combine several to be on campus for all four weeks. Provides short-term rehabilitation care for individuals who need extra recovery care due to surgery, injury, or disability.

Provides minor home repairs for Riverhead homeowners 60 years and older. Homeowner only pays for the cost of materials.

Provides long term housing for adults with a diagnosis of mental illness. Staff provides case management and support services.

Manages two campgrounds, both of which require reservations. A driver’s license is required upon registration, and applications for individual campers must meet campground criteria for occupancy, age, identification, and type of camping shelter. A monthly networking support group for men who have had any type of cancer, at any a stage, including those who are post treatment. The group is informational and supportive and facilitated by a licensed mental health professional.

Offers a free telephone reassurance program for isolated or homebound seniors. The program provides human contact with a daily reassurance call, letting clients know that someone is there for them. Most of the volunteer callers are senior citizens themselves. Helpline volunteers reach out to homebound seniors with a friendly voice - asking how you're doing, answering questions, providing information about Town or County services or just lending an ear-from one person to another. Join staff from the Town of Plattsburgh Parks & Recreation Deapartment for youth kayaking. These two days provide youth ages 13-18 the opportunity for a free kayaking lesson (Monday) and a 6.3 mile trip down the Saranac River (Tuesday). All equipment is provided. Meet at the Cadyville Beach on Wednesday, while on Thursday participants will meet at the at the boat launch on the Bowen Road in Saranac for a leisurely trip down the Saranac River to the Cadyville Beach. Plattsburgh Parks and Recreation will provide participants the opportunity to safely experience kayaking on the Saranac River. Register by June 25th.
