HCBS assists youth with a serious social, emotional and/or behavioral challenge to remain at home by offering an array of community based services to prevent placement in inpatient levels of care or Residential Treatment Facilities. Services provided would enable a child already in such a placement to be discharged more quickly. Services offered: Planned Respite services for families and caregivers focused on enhancing their ability to support the child's mental health needs. Caregiver family support.

The Lung Cancer Alliance NY provides patient support for people living with or at risk for lung cancer via an online survivors community, a phone buddy program, a clinical trials matching service and a newsletter. LCA is working to provide information about patient support and advocacy opportunities for the lung cancer community.

Offers inpatient nursing care and sub-acute care designed for individuals who continuous care due to age, illness, injury, disability or post hospitalization.

A multi-disciplinary program providing skilled healthcare and counseling services for terminally ill patients and their families. The program provides pain, symptom relief and supportive care to meet the special needs arising during the final stages of illness.

Westchester’s Kinship Unit helps grandparents, relatives, or non-biological parents raising children navigate civil legal issues. These include, but are not limited to custody, guardianship, housing, consumer debt, public benefits, education, and advance planning. Assisting Kinship Families with civil legal issues ensures stability for children being raised by non-biological parents.

Offers outpatient support services for any individual who has gone through a colostomy, iliostomy or other ostomy care, wound ostomy and continence. A nurse evaluates each patient's needs and helps them deal with everyday effects, learn to live with it, and to lead a productive lifestyle.

Has long been a vital center of intellectual innovations and scholarly exchanges not only for the Stony Brook community but also for the entire U.S. Uniquely poised to be a hub for research and education in Korean religions and philosophy, the Center has trained and sponsored many Ph.D. students in Korean religions and Buddhism who are now academic leaders in Korea and the U.S., hosted various conferences, talks, seminars, and various cultural events, and worked with the community in various projects to bring Korea to campus. The most prominent area of the Center’s dedication is publications. It has published a dozens of series of manuscripts and research projects in Korean studies, through which the Center not only helped laying the foundation of the Korean Studies as a new discipline in the United States, but also located and supported emerging young scholars in Korean studies. Many projects at the Center have involved collaboration with universities and scholars in Korea, while others have engaged campus and off-campus communities in teaching and learning about broader global and international society through Korea. Clinical services are provided for individuals suffering with the disease of addiction. Personally designed program plans are developed with great care to provide the necessary counseling and support systems to assist the chemically dependent individual achieve and maintain abstinence and recovery. Individual, group, and family therapy, as well as medication-assisted treatments. Particular care is also paid to the family members of the individual, through supportive groups and education regarding the disease of addiction.
