Offers a six-week, free, professionally led support group for family and friends of people who has committed suicide.

Provides assistance for individuals and families with rent difficulties, including one-time back rent assistance, landlord-tenant mediation, section 8 applications, and relocation assistance, including referrals to other needed services.

Provides access to job listings, apprenticeship opportunities, career planning and counseling, civil service, financial aid information, informational workshops, job fairs, job search assistance, labor market information, a resource room for job search, opportunities for individuals with disabilities, reading and writing help, reemployment services, referral to community resources, and help with resume writing.

Unites adoptive and foster parent groups, concerned agencies and individuals throughout the empire state. Represents the families' viewpoint and works to improve and expand the services available to children and families. By fostering communication and collaboration between families, agencies and concerned citizens, seeks to ensure the stability, well-being and permanency of all children touched by the child welfare system. Offers a statewide free Helpline designed specifically to assist foster, adoptive and kinship families, related professionals and those wanting to foster or become parents. Also supports and coordinates volunteer and agency-led parent support groups for foster, adoptive and kinship parents throughout the United States. Offers support to foster and kinship families including the Family Allegation Support Team, Family Court Education and Support, Ombudsmen and more post adoption support services. The Coalition advocacy focuses on issues that need system-wide attention through legislative and administrative advocacy.

Provides the testing or screenings to help in diagnosis and treatment.

Offers services to assist residents equal access to services and opportunities of the community as well as fair treatment of all people throughout the civil and criminal justice systems, and works to reduce reliance on incarceration. Provides assistance with financial advocacy, legal information, health insurance navigation, and legal and voting rights workshops.

Provides prenatal, perinatal, postpartum care for women who need home care before and/or after the baby is born. Pediatric assessment, education and treatment for the family is also available, if needed. Also provides teen pregnancy prevention classes.

Maintains all town roads including paving & repair, snow removal, street sweeping, and signage in the Town of Easton.

Receives and investigates reports of alleged abuse and/or neglect of children under 18 years of age. Provides referrals and/or monitor services as needed and petitions Family Court on behalf of children in need of protection.

Offers educational programming and career change counseling for mature adults, which focuses to a broad range of their learning needs, through courses, workshops and special events.

Accepts real hair (not bleached) donations with a 10" minimum hair length tip to tip. Hair must be in a ponytail or braid before it is cut and must be clean and completely dry before it is mailed in. The ponytail or braid must be placed in a sealed plastic bag, and then inside of a padded envelope. Do not accept wigs, falls, or synthetic hair.

Provides parenting workshops, toddler story hours and playgroups, parent support groups, book clubs, home visiting, and referrals to community resources.

Provides home visiting case management to at risk youth and works to prevent further involvement in the juvenile justice system. Services include, but are not limited to, informal counseling, including parenting, 1:1 anger management, school advocacy, tutoring, substance abuse, counseling and recreational programs. Services are offered in both English and Spanish.

Provides intensive case management and comprehensive education advocacy, including tutoring for veterans and families in a long-term housing program.

Offers new and secondhand items, including clothing, toys and other material goods at lower than retail prices. Also accepts donations. Goodwill Industries utilizes income from thrift store sales to support community programs. For information about accepted items call for details.
