The two branches of the SNI Library are affiliated with the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus County Library System. The two branches are open to the general public and are funded by the New York State Department of Education. Public library. Offers Public Access Computers: 26 computers with networked Microsoft Office Applications, printing (color prints 25 cents, B&W prints 10 cents) and Internet Access. Offers Auditorium & Small Meeting Room available for public use with reservation. Study Room may be booked for up to 2 hours at a time. Serves as a Cooling Center for individuals during times of excessive heat. Always call ahead to make sure a Cooling Center is open before going there.

A decision-making committee to determine eligibility and the appropriate level of services for preschool children aged 3-5. The CPSE is a multidisciplinary team established to conduct meetings to develop, review, or revise the Individual Education Program (IEP) of a student with a disability. The parent or legal guardian is included as a member of the committee.

Provides the services of a Certified Low Vision Optometrist for individuals with decreasing vision. A low vision evaluation differs from the routine eye exam provided by an ophthalmologist in that it works with patients to maximize their remaining functional vision through the use of optical devices. This may include special lenses, magnifiers, telescopes, lighting, and/or glare reduction. When an individual is experiencing difficulty with tasks or things they enjoy doing due to vision loss, a low vision evaluation may be beneficial.

Provides developmental evaluations and services for eligible infants and toddlers, from birth to three years old. Early intervention services such as speech/language therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy are available for children diagnosed with developmental disabilities. ###DD###

Provides assistive technology (AT) services including evaluations, training, consultation, and device demonstrations for individuals with disabilities of all ages, families, counselors, therapists, teachers, agencies, and other interested consumers. An in-person assistor/navigator will provide in-person enrollment assistance to individuals, families, small businesses, and their employees who apply for health insurance through the NYS Health Insurance Exchange.

Provides a cost-free high school arts and technology program as a safe community where young adults are welcomed, recognized, and engaged in new ways of self expression, while gaining confidence and motivation to envision and plan for their futures. From fine arts to 3D printing, program classes help students imagine themselves in careers they never considered, while building friendships in a supportive environment.

A comprehensive child development Head Start/Preschool program designed to serve income eligible children 0-5 years of age including children with disabilities and their families.

Provides 24-hour services from trained personal care aides and home health aides. Also provides a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Program to meet the needs of individuals with TBI who require nursing home level care but who prefer to live in their own home or private residence. TBI Program participants receive daily living supports from Home and Community Support Services (HCSS) aides.

Imaging services include 3D mammography (digital tomography), x-ray, bone density, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.

Provides a 24-hour crisis intervention hotline, 24-hour advocacy, group counseling, transportation, court accompaniment and preparation, and compensation claim form assistance through NYS Office of Victim Services. Office is at a secure location, which is shared with clients at the time of intake.
