Not only do we teach tricks and technique, but also aim to improve communications skills, helping to build self-esteem and confidence. The camp is extremely interactive and teaches magic through hands-on instruction and demonstrations. Instructors explore various magical genres throughout the week and also teach a bit about the history behind them; stage, parlor, street, close-up, slight-of hand - amongst others - and allow campers to be creative and explore which they feel most comfortable with. Along with “tricks of the trade” some highlights of the program are; card tricks, misdirection, coin magic, rope tricks, mind reading games, improv skills and performance tips.
