Collects and distributes food and resources to Westchester soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters and other hunger-relief programs.

Food is collected from local and national food donors, food drives, government programs, government commodities and Feeding America, and then distributed to over 600 agencies, that include food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, day care centers and senior nutrition sites.

Operates and oversees a takeout ready to eat community kitchen and provides an emergency food pantry and mobile food pantry. Other services include food recovery, food redistribution, community gardens, and seedling provision. Provides food to Southold families in need. Food donated by individuals, organizations, local farm stands, Long Island Cares and Island Harvest are collected and distributed at the main office. Working with 364 partner agencies in our eleven county service area of Central and Northern New York, the Food Bank works to eliminate hunger through nutritious food distribution, education, and advocacy in cooperation with the community.

The Food Bank also has a number of direct service programs that fight hunger including the BackPack Program and Mobile Food Pantry. Located in Elmira, NY the Food Bank is a regional agency of Catholic Charities and a member of Feeding America.

Provides food pantry services, referrals and information. Also provides school supplies when available, and pet food. Accepts volunteer assistance. Must register on website.

Provides food to the community in need. Includes canned food, boxed foods, meats, and frozen food. Call office to make sure there is someone there to provide this food to those who come in.

Lunch served on weekdays by Maudie Mae's Community Kitchen. Free Thanksgiving and Christmas meals provided, along with a Breakfast With Santa. Holiday baskets also available for residents of Eastern Orleans County, including the Village of Holley, Town of Clarendon, and Town of Murray. Provides family development/case management services. Offers public access computers with internet and senior activities including bingo and crafts. When funding is available, provides rent and utility assistance in emergency situations under specific circumstances; clients should reach out and share their circumstances to learn whether they'd be eligible. Also offers a health clinic which provides the following:

• Health coach services, including health referrals and guidance on health insurance
• Visits from Oak Orchard Health's mobile health unit, which provides lab services and a nurse practitioner
